Medical covers health care services for low-income individuals including children, families with young children, seniors, disabled adults, people in foster care, and people who are pregnant. It is a public health insurance program funded by both state and federal funds. When you fill out your application, we will send your information securely to your state agency to see if you qualify for Medi-Cal or other coverage options like cost savings on Marketplace plans. If you do not qualify for free or affordable Medi-Cal, you may be able to get Medicare Advantage, a health and drug plan from a private company.
